Parenting in general can be challenging, but when a child has a special need- be it autism, ADD, epilepsy, diabetes, or working through the foster care system- they require a little more special parenting.
I love this advice, and what a great way to share this information. Your technique is definitely applicable to all children. I have a hard time leaving the kids I nanny to cry when I put them down.. but then they don't end up sleeping. Did you learn anything about how effective it is to leave the child with music playing in the room, or is that frowned on? Thank you for sharing!
This video was really helpful. I loved the way you presented the information and that their was a video demonstrating it as well. I have worked with kids with special needs and I know that this would help many of their parents and especially new parents with children with special needs. Thank you for sharing! :)
